A chiropractic adjustment consists of a manual, hands on, joint manipulation to any and all of the subluxated joints in the body. Drop pieces and activators are instruments that can be used to assist in mobilizing a joint during this service.

Chiropractic Treatment

This service includes a chiropractic adjustment but focuses on loosening tight muscles by using deep soft tissue mobilization techniques. It corrects faulty biomechanics by stretching overused muscles. Education may be given on strengthening the antagonistic muscles to bring balance and pain relief to the neuromusculoskeletal system. Techniques used to stretch these overworked muscles include post isometric relation, pin and stretch method, cupping and scraping with options for CBD emollient.

Craniosacral Therapy

A craniosacral therapy session turns down the fight or flight sympathetic nervous systems and turns on the rest and digest parasympathetic nervous system. The body needs to be in this state in order to heal. This very relaxing session is preformed on the biomat lying face up. The doctor places their hands on or under various parts of the body to assess and manipulate the craniosacral rhythm.
